1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Homework2Night ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Homework2Night is an educational assistance tool that helps parents and children in grades K-5 with homework. The Service uses AI to provide step-by-step explanations aligned to Common Core standards.

3. User Accounts

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining account security.
• Child profiles may only be created by a parent or legal guardian.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

4. Children and COPPA

The Service is designed for use by parents on behalf of children under 13. By creating a child profile, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian and consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or inappropriate for children
• Attempt to access another user's data
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the AI models
• Use the Service to generate answers for academic dishonesty

6. AI-Generated Content

Explanations and guidance provided by Homework2Night are generated by AI. While we strive for accuracy and alignment with educational standards, the Service is a supplementary tool and should not replace teacher instruction. We do not guarantee the accuracy of all AI responses.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

• Free accounts have usage limits as described on the pricing page.
• Paid subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time from your account settings.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Homework2Night. Homework photos and content you upload remain your property.

9. Limitation of Liability

Homework2Night is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove all data including child profiles.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
