Homework2Night was created by Jennifer Johnstone Lopez, a mom of three, author, and tech entrepreneur who got tired of Googling "how many 1's are in 39" at 8pm on a Tuesday.
Jennifer is the author of Why I Cried: Tales from Historical Pregnant Women and The Ultimate Tech Guide for Moms. Her background in digital marketing and technology — combined with the very real experience of helping her own kids with homework every night — led to the idea behind Homework2Night.
The concept is simple: take a photo of tonight's worksheet (or type in the assignment), and get step-by-step guidance that matches how your child's teacher taught it in class. No answers given away. Just real understanding, built one problem at a time.
Homework2Night is a GSD Equity LLC venture, owned by Jennifer & Ricky Lopez. Their three kids in grades Pre-K through 2nd were the original beta testers, along with teachers and kids from the neighborhood — and the reason this app exists. Every feature gets tested at the kitchen table before it ships.
